Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain a robust platform.
Manage and enhance components of the data analytics platform.
Participate in architectural design discussions and exploratory projects.
Develop solutions following cloud best practices and Infrastructure as Code principles.
Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure platform reliability and performance.

Qualifications:

Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and building solutions on top of them.
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, particularly with Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Proficiency in managing GCP services like Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Google Cloud Storage (GCS), BigQuery (BQ), and Dataproc.
Strong programming skills, especially in Python and/or Go languages.
Ability to articulate ideas clearly and contribute effectively to collaborative design processes.
Familiarity with secure authentication methods and encrypted workloads, such as OAuth 2.0, Key Management Service (KMS), SSL/TLS, etc.
Practical knowledge in monitoring, logging, and alerting implementations.
English (B2)

Nice to have:

Ability to contribute to Open-Source projects.
Experience in distributed cloud computing and storage solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Capability to optimize code and infrastructure for improved performance.
Strong inclination towards automation and streamlining processes.
